Growth rate is the deciding factor
During warm, wet stretches, many San Antonio lawns grow fast enough that weekly mowing keeps the cut cleaner.
In slower periods, every two or three weeks can be plenty.
What biweekly can mean in practice
If growth outpaces the schedule, each visit removes more material, which can leave clumping and a rougher finish.
Some properties do fine on biweekly with a slightly higher mowing height, which the contractor decides.
How to decide
Start with the frequency you prefer, then ask the contractor what they recommend after seeing the lawn.
You can adjust the schedule directly with them as seasons change.
